Unfortunately, Xfinity has ruined a long standing, competitive cable company with greed, gouging, and disservice to customers who have long tenure with company.
Switching people to Yahoo email that is far below a level of service that comcast.net provided for years is sad and troubling. Don't switch until you have to, as you cannot return. Immediately, you will see a totally different email experience.
Spam mails and ads at every turn and torturing pop ups to upgrade. What am I paying for now? Why upgrade when I had a formidable degree of service?
My whole family has had independent .net email accounts that worked better and more efficient than gmail, hotmail, or yahoo for over 15 years.
Now, this ad stricken, no space available, and sold out to greed hidden agenda email service has invaded our form of communication. Why would anyone be willing to pay for an email service that spams ads between legitimate emails and offer to upgrade for an additional fee?
I became part of the Comcast family to have internet, cable tv, and email service. Maybe they are having financial trouble?
This blows chunks, I will search a different internet service and WiFi capability and kick out off my house cable tv. I will stream my way into the future and see which email service is less distracting.
Shameless effort and ruined a good thing.
