Hey all,
Last month I booked a Colive PG in Bangalore.
First I paid 3k for reservation, and later paid 22k as the deposit.

1. I talked to the Sales guy and explicitly said that I wanted the room 102. And he confirmed the same, and hence I paid the deposit.
2. The move-in date was initially set to 28th Apr, which was some limitation in the app, and the sales guy said they will change it to 15th(which is my move-in date). But it never changed, and it generated a bill from 28th April-31st may and now shows a pending 25k.
3. Today, my room no got changed to some other and upon asking the sales guy, he said there is a corporate booking and he allotted someone else the room. And I can come stay for 15 days and will be shifted later to that room. What is then a reservation for?
4. So, I asked him for the deposit back, as I don't trust these guys. He says deposit cannot be refunded.

What should I do? Should I send a legal notice?

I have proofs, voice recordings, screenshots of everything.
