So the matoran and other species in the GSR were made to build and maintain it during Mata Nui's mission. So why is the inside of the GSR a bunch of islands instead of what you'd expect the inside of a spaceship or machine to look like? How does the day to day life of the average matoran or vortixx or skakdi help keep the giant robot in working order? Is there an in-universe reason the great beings would set it up that way?
