... Van Halen! A friend of mine loaned me his EVH Frankenstrat (Red Black White) and I instantly fell in love with it. So I decided to the Black and Yellow Frankie (No it's not Bumblebee) because it's my favorite color combo for VH. Plus this one has a working single coil with the push\push knob. To complete the ensemble I also got the ToneX Pedal with the Brownsound collection (yup all 3 packs). The Wolfgang Pickup is the glue that holds it together to get that tone and I've tried with other superstrats and they just have that special sauce (they still sound great but not very VH). Now I have no illusions about playing like Eddie but it was prompted me to learn more Van Halen songs for the sheer fun of it.
To sum up this setup brings pure joy to me and is very therapeutic in our current time.
