Very very severe Dairy Allergy- Anything help?
I’ve (27F) have been severely allergic to dairy since I was born. It got worse with age/exposures over the years. Cross contamination, made in facility, smell, touch can all make me at the very least short of breath, with hives, or depending on the amount, into anaphylaxis.
My question is, is there anything in the world I can ever do to help make my dairy allergy not so severe?
I’m mostly curious. All my family, friends, and work know how to take care of me at this point. I don’t usually introduce myself without letting a person know about my dairy allergy, just in case. I live a pretty normal life I think, but am always so curious what it would be like to not have be so worried about it.
I’d love to hear anyone’s story!
