(Australia) Gaming PC willing to spend approx 2500k AUD

Hi everyone! (Error in title, 2500 AUD not 2500k xD)

I'd like some advice for which parts to get for my first gaming PC please in Australia.

I already have the RAM (I think it's 32gb? my friend is giving me it) and Storage (Crucial P3 Plus 4tb). I also already have a keyboard and mouse.

For video card, I'm thinking either the Nvidia rtx 5070 or I'm leaning towards the Sapphire Pure RX 9070 XT.

CPU - Thinking either AMD Ryzen 7 9700x or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (extra 40 bucks on amazon, but might be worth it)

For the other parts, I'm not too sure what is good and what to get. Though if possible, I'd like a white version of each (but if black is much cheaper I can get that, I'm not too fussed about aesthetics.) I want to get a white casing, with some glass to look at the components inside. I don't care about RGB much.

I also need to purchase a monitor, preferably OLED 27 inch.

What will I be using it for: Mostly gaming and discord voice chat, maybe using it for university aswell but it'll just mostly be word doc editing. My gaming laptop will be used for university and digital 2d art primarily instead. I won't be doing any proper video editing or rendering much at all.

Which games: Final Fantasy XIV MMO, Modded Minecraft, Overwatch (i am not competitive), co-op games like borderlands, Baldur's gate 3, and some single player JRPGs.

Thank you in advance!

note. i am entirely new to this, I have never built a pc before and don't know a lot about hardware. my friend will be helping me build it and will give me an opinion on the parts.

Wanting to build my first gaming PC. Wait for EOFY or buy now?

Hi everyone!

I am not too knowledgeable about these things, so I'm looking for some advice. My friend who is much more tech savvy than me will be helping me build the PC and find good parts. I've been using a gaming laptop for the longest time, but the signs of wear are starting to show, so I think it's time for an upgrade.

I'm planning of spending max 3000 AUD for this build. I already have RAM and 4tb SSD that I can use.

GPU, I was thinking of either the rtx 5070 or Radeon 9070XT. CPU most likely AMD Ryzen 7 9700X

I'd also like to get an OLED monitor. Lenovo Legion Pro 27inch OLED seems fine.

Do you guys know whether there will be any worthwhile sales coming up? I know the EOFY sales should be starting up, but I'm not sure if there will be any good sales for the parts I need? I saw Centrecom's EOFY sale has already started, but it doesn't look like there's much I need on sale.

Thank you!

edit: I mostly will be playing Final Fantasy 14 MMO, Overwatch, League of Legends, Baldur's Gate 3, some co-op games and some single player games. I am not a competitive player whatsoever and just play for fun.
