So my dad has a history of abusing me, I am currently trying to reconcile with him about that. Just noting. I’m safe and he is (allegedly) getting help.

Because of our past, my dad has sort of given up on trying to reconcile with me and he has a significantly better relationship with my sister. What I’m worried about is that he is teaching my sister bad habits. Recently, he has told her to take the candies and snacks that he bought her and hide it in a little drawer without my knowing. There are a bunch of things that I don’t get often and I really like, which makes it sting a little more. Not to forget that there are like two things that have hit past the expiration date and have barely been touched, so it’s not like they absolutely need all this stuff. Because of our past, I don’t know if this is normal or not. I don’t have a baseline for what could be bad or understandable, so what could be a big problem for someone else is a small problem to me. Is this normal and should o just forget about it?
