customer photos with street names are moving local pack spots faster than review count

i ran a quick experiment last month with two service-area clients. instead of chasing more reviews we asked every customer to take one photo of the finished job and drop the exact street name in the caption before they drove off. three weeks later both businesses climbed 2-3 positions in the local pack while their total review count barely changed.google seems to be treating those fresh location-tagged photos as a heavier real-time signal than i expected especially after the april update. it actually proves the business was physically there doing the work right then.what kind of movement are you guys seeing when customers add geo-specific photos versus just leaving text reviews?
