Hi everyone! I’m a 22-year-old (220 lbs) and I’m brand new to the peptide community. I have PCOS, which has made weight loss feel like an uphill battle, but I’m officially starting my journey next week.
I’m feeling a little lost and could really use some guidance from those who have been there. I have a few specific questions and hurdles:
1. Reconstitution & Supplies
I honestly have no idea what I’m doing yet. Does anyone have reliable YouTube or TikTok creators who explain the reconstruction process simply? Also, I’m having a hard time sourcing Bac Water—any tips on where to look?
2. The Goal
I have a wedding in 4 months and 2 weeks. I’d love to lose about 50 lbs to feel more confident in my dress. I’m specifically looking to slim down around my midsection and arms. Is this a realistic timeframe for this kind of goal while on peptides?
3. Lifestyle & Diet Changes
This is my biggest struggle. I have a massive sweet tooth and I’m definitely more of a "junk food" person than a "whole foods" person.
• Protein: How much should I be aiming for daily to keep my muscle while losing fat?
• Sugar: For those with PCOS and a sweet tooth, what helped you transition away from sugar?
• Budget: I’m stretching every dollar right now between rent and bills. What are your favorite budget-friendly, high-protein staples that actually taste good?
I just don't want to feel "big" anymore and want to make sure I'm doing this safely and effectively. Any advice, links, or words of encouragement would mean the world!

I’m looking for some insight from anyone who has thyroid issues and has started taking Retatrutide. I’ve struggled with weight loss for a while now because of my thyroid, and I’m curious if "Reta" has been effective for people in similar shoes.
If you have thyroid issues and are on it, I’d love to know:
• Have you seen consistent weight loss so far?
• Did you have to adjust your thyroid medication dosage as you lost weight?
• Are there any specific side effects you’ve noticed that felt related to your thyroid?
I really want to make sure this is the right path for me, so I’d appreciate any personal stories or advice you can share. Thanks!
