Car seat replacement

Do I have to replace my car seats if my car was in multiple emergency stops.

I recently purchased a brand new chevy Tahoe and it has been having major problems. It has randomly slamed the breaks on while driving. It happened in my drive way, while getting on the on ramp to the highway, at the hospital parking lot and while turning into a strip mall.

It violently slams the breaks on, to a complete stop from around 15 miles per hour and puts itself into park. After the first time it did it, I turned all the auto collision protection etc off. (It’s in the shop right now, while engineers are trying to figure out what’s wrong with it!)

I’m currently laying in bed with what I’m pretty certain is whip lash.

Would this be enough force to require replacing the car seats?

Settings reset

I have a brand new Chevy Tahoe that’s giving me all kinds of problems. Not being able to break while in cruise control. Displays going all black. And now it’s randomly violently breaking. Like my neck and back hurt, violent breaking. It will come to a complete stop, then roll forward and then shut off.

When I turn the car on, I turn all the collision breaking off, and then after it turns off and it’s started again, I lose all those settings and they are all turned back on.

Are those settings supposed to hold, or are they supposed to reset?
