I just got the Boysmells discovery set and am surprised by how mid it is. I've been scouring this subreddit and learned that they did a rebrand, so I wonder if that is contributing to this.
I guess my expectations were off, but I was expecting something more subversive, gender neutral, and interesting. Obviously, any gender can wear any scent BUT all 5 smells are aggressively sweet or vanilla forward. Everything smells very stereotypically girly, bath and body works-esque, and candle like.
The scents I tried were coco dream, vanilla era, solar drip, coco hinoki, woodphoria. I would love to know what other folks think of their perfumes!
