I’m looking to upgrade my phone and could really use recommendations.

I’ve used Samsung Galaxy phones basically my whole life, but for the last year I’ve been using an old iPhone 8 Plus. I got used to iOS more than I expected, love the camera, but I still generally prefer Galaxy phones and Android overall.

My biggest priority is the camera because I want to start creating content in the future. Good video quality, stabilization, low light performance, and overall reliability matter a lot to me.

Other things that are important to me:

• Good battery life
• Durable / long-lasting phone
• I keep phones for years, so I want something that’ll age well
• I prefer smaller/lighter phones, BUT I’d still take a slightly bigger phone if the camera is significantly better
• I don’t really game, but I do want decent performance for editing videos/photos on the phone

Budget is around 800$-1000$ max.

I’m open to brands other than Samsung if they’re genuinely better value, but I’m pretty skeptical because I previously got recommended a Xiaomi and absolutely hated the experience.

בתור מושבניק שלא היה בצופים אבל היה מוקף באנשים שהיו בצופים כל החיים, השיח הזה עלה מספיק פעמים וחייב לסגור אותו (לפחות בראש שלי)
