Both my parents are quite elderly and I've given up my full time job to be their full time carer, it's a big dip of the amount of income for me. They pay me but not nearly as much as my old employer did. They have several rental properties in the UK. Just wanted to know, would I have to pay inheritance tax myself or would that come out of the estate, just worried it will come to a point where I cannot cover a large IHT bill when hey do pass , it's not very clear on any inheritance websites. One website says it comes out of estate but a few posts on here say they had to pay themselves.

Any advise appreciated. Thanks x
