As our community continues to grow, we are looking for active and responsible moderators to help maintain discussions, enforce rules fairly, and ensure the subreddit remains organized and welcoming.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Be Assamese indigenous and understand the cultural, social, and political sentiments of the subreddit
• Be familiar with Reddit Content Policy, Moderator Code of Conduct, and the rules of r/AssamSpeaks
• Understand the sensitivity of political and regional discussions and be capable of taking unbiased moderation actions
• Have a verified Reddit account
• Have a reasonable level of karma, activity, and participation
• Have an older Reddit account (accounts created recently or with suspicious activity may not be considered)

Preferred Qualities

• Previous moderation experience (not mandatory)
• Ability to stay calm during heated discussions
• Good communication and decision-making skills
• Active availability on Reddit

8. What would you do if another moderator makes a biased or unfair decision?
9. Are you familiar with Reddit’s Content Policy and Moderator Code of Conduct?
