Developing sudden 'mild' allergic reactions
I dont know whether I this information is helpful at all but I am around 5'7 weighing about 8 stone/112 pounds/50kg. I have suddenly started reacting to alot of carbohydrates (pasta, rice, banana, and maybe potato now as well), so obviously it is harder to actually get full. By reacting I mean full face flushed, rashes, fatigue (with no/little hives on my face), headache and stomach ache. However I can still eat bread which is very strange. Eating the rice is the worse reaction and it seems to be getting worse, started with just a mild rash, next time I tried it stomach ache and a worse rash, then bright red inflamed lips and full face rash, and the last time I tried it my throat felt like it was closing and I was having a little difficulty breathing (so I will not be touching it again for a while). Earlier on in the day I ate waffles and was perfectly fine, but I had regular potatoes later and I came out in a rash on my face (with no hives), obviously it could be something else I ate, I will try potato on its own tommorow and see whether it is that. I've reacted to rice, pasta, potato, apple and strawberries in the past by coming out in a very bad rash and headaches. Eventually they disappeared. And since then I have had random episodes where I have been reacting to pasta, bread, potato and rice (mild rash, headaches, stomach aches) that have lasted a week- a few months and gone away but then come back throughout my childhood. Now its all of them at once and I really do not know what is going on. The one time I went to the doctors about my recurrant headaches/migraines and I mentioned the fatigue I got sometimes when eating some food, I just got told fatigue was normal (this was when I was 12, now 16/17). Been to the doctors about heavy and painful cycles got told it was normal at 12. So I havent really been able to get any help from the doctors obviously I am going to try and go back there now I am older but I just want any thoughts on what might be going on. I've attached some photos of what my skin on my face looks like during a reaction and what my lips look like. Happy to provide any other information if it necessary.
