I really need help improving my grades on reading comps.

One of my biggest struggles is timing. I take too long on passages and then feel rushed on the questions. Also, a lot of the answer choices feel super similar, so I end up second-guessing myself or picking the wrong one.

Sometimes the questions don’t make sense to me, or they ask about context and I don’t really know how to use context clues properly. I feel like I just need more practice, but I don’t know where to find good, challenging questions. I’ve tried some websites, but the questions aren’t that great or don’t match what I’m tested on.

I’m also trying to start preparing early for my Grade 12 diploma exams next year, so I really want to build strong skills now and actually improve.

Does anyone have tips that actually helped them? Like strategies for answering questions, managing time, or good places to practice?
