I can't get over how my husband treated me during and right after my labor

I went into labor at our apartment at midnight, but my contractions became more intense and faster around 2am. I had bloody liquid trickling down and my gut told me to get to the hospital asap, so I asked my husband to start packing the car. He told me to wait more because I hadn't had contractions 4 minutes apart for an hour yet, even though I couldn't stand by that point. He even had the audacity to ask me to move while I had my back against the wall because I had derailed the sliding doors of our hallway closet during one of my contractions.

He finally started making the moves to go to the hospital after 45min of me begging. We eventually made it to the hospital and was admitted around 4am. Turns out, my water had broke and my contractions were coming every 3 minutes.

After 1.5 days of labor, an infection from the broken water, acute renal failure from the baby blocking my kidneys, I ended up having an unplanned c-section but my baby was born, healthy.

I was hospitalized for a few days after the surgery and had the option to extend my stay. My husband wanted to go home immediately and was annoyed that I wanted to stay an extra night. He got to take multiple showers in my postpartum room before me, and commented how he ran out of clean underwear.

A few weeks later, told him he didn't act like the partner I expected him to be during my labor, and he kept using the excuse of how the hospital had told us about the 4-1-1 rule and he was just going off the hospital guidelines.

I'm a few months postpartum now, and he finally acknowledged how shitty he had been, but I honestly can't look at him the same way.
