Just need some advice on intakes for my MK7 GTI Clubsport EA888 Gen 3.
Currently running Stage 1 ECU + DSG tune and looking for turbo sound and airflow, paired with a turbo inlet.
After doing some research, the RacingLine R600 seems to be the go-to “safe OEM+” choice for reliability, fitment and heat management. Are there any other brands you guys would recommend? IE? CTS? Unitronic?
Also, has anyone here used or heard of the EM Performance 4” intake?

The kit actually looks pretty well built (heat shield, K&N filter, titanium piping etc.) but I can’t really find many long-term reviews or feedback online compared to RacingLine, CTS or IE.
Main priorities:
- reliability
- minimal heat soak
- good fitment
- no CEL/issues
- enjoyable turbo sound for daily driving
Would appreciate any honest feedback or long-term experiences.
