Hi everyone,

I know this has been posted already but just checking if it still stands and check if this is viable ?

I have a WHV 417 that was granted but I never actually entered Australia. It expires 1 October 2026 and due to some personal stuff I won't be able to make the move until 2027 — but I'd still love to visit after it expires.

So my plan would be to just let it expire, apply for an eVisitor in mid-October to visit friends for a couple of weeks, then head home and reapply for a fresh WHV (I'd still meet all the requirements).
