Hiring founding team member for kirana startup (field sales / merchant onboarding) (Cash & SweatEquity)

A bit about me — experienced GTM operator with experience of working on the 0→1 journey with startups, and hands-on experience with rural/semi-urban retail networks.
I'm building a startup for Indian kirana retailers — helping them make smarter inventory/business decisions using AI.
The product is already being built. What I need now is someone who can help figure out distribution from the ground up.
This is not a remote growth-marketing role.
In the beginning, the work is very simple:
• walk into stores
• talk to owners
• get shops onboarded
• understand objections
• figure out what actually works
Over time, this person would own merchant onboarding/success and help build that function from scratch.
Ideal background:
• 1-3 years in field sales / merchant onboarding
• BharatPe / PhonePe / Paytm / FMCG-type experience is a plus
• comfortable spending most of the day on the ground, not behind spreadsheets
But honestly, mindset matters more.
I'm probably looking for someone who's already had the thought: "I don't want a normal job forever. I want to help build something."
This could grow into a cofounder-type relationship for the right person.
