My wife and I are just about to buy a 2024 Keystone RV Hideout 24RBS we are planning on going backpacking around Canada and living in it for a couple months. Before we buy it out in cash I’m just wondering if it’s worth it.

The dealership is giving us 2 year warranty. And giving us a new mini fridge for the outside space and a new mattress. It has an upgraded solar panel and wiring. The only thing that throws me for a loop is the fridge. It’s. Propane fridge and I’ve never used or am familiar with the quality of it over an electric fridge.

Please give me your opinions if you’ve ever own one.

It will cost us 30k all said and done.

Hey everyone. My wife and I (22&23) are planning on traveling Western Canada. That is including Alaska if we decide to go that far north. We will be touch the Territories and looping around there.

For context we currently live in southern Alberta. I’m originally from B.C and my wife is from Alberta (She has never went further than 600km from home) which is to my parents house haha.

We are planning on buying a Travel Trailer to live in while we travel. We have a cat and a Chocolate Lab so the room is kinda needed. But obviously we don’t want to be strictly highway travellers we are looking for destinations and hikes that will make us feel a bit more free. We don’t mind staying overnight on the mountain in a tent or even a hammock. We just figured before we have kids that we go see beautiful Canada before we decide to settle down.

We will be starting from Creston British Columbia. And going up to Revelstoke, Golden, Banff area. Then further north to the territories and then toward Alaska and then downwards heading towards Vancouver. So if you guys can suggest some scenic routes or hikes or even just jaw dropping viewings. It would be very helpful and thankful.

God bless you.

Edit: We will be traveling for minimum a month in September and potentially October before snow hits hard.
