Hi everyone, I’m looking for some serious advice on a complicated and now threatening situation.
I 25M l started dating a girl 26F in January 2025. I am Hindu and she is Muslim. Early on, she claimed she had never been in a relationship, but over time, I discovered she was simultaneously involved with two other people: a former schoolmate and a businessman living in China. While dating me, she was actively planning a business and a life in China with the other guy, even accepting expensive gifts like designer bags from him while letting me spend my own savings on her.
Every time I caught her in a lie or saw messages, she would gaslight me or promise to change, only for me to find out later via data backups and phone notifications that she was still in contact with them.
The Current Crisis
For the past seven months, the relationship has turned into a nightmare. She has been pressuring and blackmailing me to convert to her religion. She is now threatening to leak personal/private photos I sent her if I don't comply or if I try to leave.
I want to file an FIR for blackmail and harassment, but I am terrified of the consequences. Her sisters are advocates and her aunt is a judge. I feel like if I take legal action, her family will use their power to ruin my life or turn the case against me.
I need help with:
How do I protect myself from the leak of my private photos?
Is there a way to file a complaint where her family’s influence won't immediately suppress it?
Has anyone dealt with litigation harassment from a partner with a legal background?
I’m feeling trapped and looking for any guidance on how to exit this safely.
