Hey guys, I committed to Villanova yesterday and it costs me 29k a year because a scholarship I got. I was really close to choosing Pitt but they gave me little to no aid, and when I applied to stay on campus, my tuition jumped from 23k to 39k. I wasn’t considering commuting before but I feel like I should have. Money is really important to my decision, and I could’ve went to Pitt while commuting for 23k.
Also socially I preferred Pitt because it is more diverse, it also has a medical hub, and I have people I know there. It’s only 22 min away from where I live. I also just have been having a bad feeling about going to Philly without any family or friends around. It was really my family that was pushing me to go to Villanova and idk if I made the wrong decision.
It’s still decision day and I could still turn my sessions around, it would just loose my enrollment payment.
