how do I go about cutting off a transphobic friend if all my other friends are friends with her
so I've been growing more and more tired of this girl, who I will call H, but the last straw was when I realized that she is transphobic. not in the "I hate trans ppl and they should die" but rather "you have to pass or your not a woman/man". I'm ftm in a VERY non-accepting community so I have to be selective on who I can tell. And she was someone my brother () told. I thought it would be ok cuz she,as I understood it at the time, not transphobic. I met my current friends and my boyfriend (also ftm) through H.
Now if I were an adult this wouldn't be a problem, I could just block and ghost her. But I'm not my middle school is weird so we have a recess. All of my friends including H in in the lower grade. (my bf got held back in kindergarten in case you were wondering)
In no way am I upset at the fact that she uses my dying name but today at recess she has said
"I wont see you as a boy until you don't have boobs don't have a period and you look like a boy"
I understand struggling to see me as a boy rn as I am very feminine but I asked if "I could at least be a femboy" (because you could never make me give up skirts) and she said that "no I could not"
I have a problem with this for two reasons
1: this almost explicitly states that you are not a real man/woman unless you medically transition to the gender of your choice which also implies non-binary people aren't real
2: I fucking hate the norm of boys being masculine. I love skirts too much
So what do I do?
