This question popped in my head and I still can´t find an answer. I´m not intrigued about old realeases — 2001-2009 / kenners— given that a lot of them are highly sought after. What I´m really curious about is which dolls that were released after that time period would be considered the "most popular." I personally would use sales as a criteria to messure popularity; I know this may not reflect how liked a doll is in the long term, but it´s a pretty objetive parameter that reflects how popular a doll was at the time of release.
I also know it´s probably not possible to arrive to a precise conclusion, but I would love to start a conversation and hear your two cents on the situation!
My personal take is that Lavendula Babe, Juliet´s Choice, Coquette Lumiere, Zoe and her pet fish, Princess Shirley, Sweet Bubbly Bear, Tsumori Spirit Dazzling, Anna Sui, Momoiro No Hime + Sanrio Collabs are some of the most popular releases of this past few years.
