For those who have parents who passed on what was your experience like with them and recieving an inheritance?

I have been no contact for 8 years so i dont know what is going on with my narcissistic parents other than they are old and ill. Im trying to understand what to expect. I dont actually want to recieve an inheritance because 1) i dont like them and 2) I am disabled and recieve assitance for this. And recieving an inheritance could actually make things complicated with the support i recieve. However I am told i am by my assistance that i am obligated to take the money if it is willed to me.

I have 2 siblings and they have kids of their own. Not sure what to expect
