RAM or MOBO, Getting BSOD
Back in 2021, I built my first PC, with these main parts: Fractal Design Meshify C Mini (can’t find on PCPartpicker) Asus TUF Gaming B550M-PLUS Wi-Fi AM4 Micro-ATX mobo Ryzen 5 5600X Crucial Ballistix 3600MHz DDR4 8GBx2 Corsair 750W Gold psu Samsung 860EVO
Last year, I decided to upgrade my RAM to G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3600 16GBx4, which was too much for my motherboard, and I couldn’t use the 3600, and decreased it to 3200.
Earlier this year, I started getting BSOD. After using memtest86, it seemed like both the G.Skill and certain slots went bad on the MOBO. I was getting errors on all 4 sticks. I used the Ballistix to go through the slots, and 1 and 3 were not working, but 2 and 4 were working. I did an RMA and got new sticks and started using them in the 2 and 4 slots.
Today, I started getting a bunch of BSOD. I ran memtest86 again, and the two G.Skills that I were using was giving me errors. I tried the two other G.Skills and Ballistix, and have gotten no errors.
With this in mind, is my motherboard bad and causing my RAM sticks to go bad?
Thank you all for your time!
