Teeny tiny baby
This is the first scaley love of my life, Mesa. He is a teensy tiny little guy hatched in August of 2025. When I got him in the middle of February, he was 8 grams. Now, he’s hanging around 10-11 grams depending when I weigh him, and I know people say if they’re eating and drinking and pooping, their weight isn’t all that important.
I have yet to see him shed. His size concerns me, and I don’t know if a little less than 2 months is an abnormal time frame to not see a shed. As for eating, he is relatively consistent, we did run into a hunger strike from March 18th - April 7th, but he did eat on the 7th. He is a little lavender and I am just in love with him. Does he have an okay prognosis with life? He is active, likes to burrow, and I’ve seen him drink as well. Any advice is appreciate. I do also plan on scheduling him a vet appointment for an overall check.
Edit to add, basking temp is around 90, cooler side around 76. Humidity hangs around 40%.
