Sorry about the bad pics!! I’m just really happy with how it turned out, especially cause I kinda just winged it.

Broke down my first chicken last night (yield in pic 4) and used the scraps and bones to make chicken stock, alongside a couple of bay leaves, an onion and three very rubbery carrots. It’s doing its second strain and cooling now but I’m so excited to see how it ends up! It already tastes amazing

Definitely looking forward to doing it again (hopefully with a bigger pot and thus bigger yield though)

Relatedly… does anyone have any recommendations for recipes to use the stock in? I have to eat fairly low carb because of insulin resistance but happy to try pretty much anything!!
