Honestly, if we don't get a good candidate available timely, maybe we should give Carrick one more year and see how he does. Then next season, we can go for a good manager. I don't think appointing someone just for the sake of it has worked out so well for us.

I do hope Carrick's game management improves. He seems very static, but he can easily argue that there aren't many options on the bench. It's not all black and white, perhaps.
