I'm binging through this right now and I can't believe how great this show is

I just finished the first 2 seasons, and this has been one of my favorite shows to binge thus far. It has a sci-fi esque premise but never veers too much into that outlandish territory pertaining to Alex's powers. I really like Vince as the antagonist here, because he seems less like a true villain and more of a gullible buffoon. And the rest of the cast is great too.

Ever had anyone make a comment about your DVD collection/habit?

Some people are compelled to make comments about other people's habits, and I'm curious to see if that's ever happened to anyone else.

In an alternate universe, Zak leave GA and not Nick. What does the show look like now?

The year is 2015 and tension is rising between two (former?) friends. But instead of Nick getting shafted, it's Zak who gets the boot. What direction does the show go in and what would it look like today?

I created a list of every notable classic movie I could find on the internet archive

A few notes:

  • Mildred Pierce, The Postman Always Rings Twice, and Double Indemnity have the same link as I couldn't link each one individually
  • I linked the entire Road To series under the "Road to Morocco" movie, but it's there
  • There's a "1941 Creators" collection, which is why films like Citizen Kane, Sullivan's Travels, and Sergeant York all have the same link

I pulled the titles from the AFI top 400 list from 2007, and most of the newer films (at the time) couldn't be found. Are there any that I'm missing?

Do you think there will be a divide between people who adopt AI and those who choose not to?

I was watching videos on Youtube how technology will change things within the next decade, and there was some interesting stuff (AI and medicine, for example), but it got me thinking. Will some people resist AI entirely and continue to do things the old way, regardless of the benefits offered by AI?
