Hi everyone,

I need some advice regarding my situation. I’m a 23-year-old fresher currently in TCS training. My training will complete tomorrow.

In TCS:

If I resign before training completion, I don’t need to serve any notice period.

If I continue after training completion, I’ll have a 90-day notice period.

At the same time, I received an offer from Accenture for the AASE role with a package of 6.5 LPA, while my TCS package is 3.5 LPA.

Timeline:

Got Accenture offer letter on March 10.

Cleared the early onboarding MCQ round.

In the hands-on round, I honestly didn’t perform that well.

Because of that, I think I didn’t get the viva call.

Last week I received a mail saying results will be announced within 2 weeks.

Now I’m confused about what to do.

My concerns:

  1. Should I resign from TCS now to avoid the 90-day notice period?

  2. Or should I continue working in TCS until I get a confirmed joining date from Accenture?

  3. If I continue in TCS and later get Accenture joining, is there any chance Accenture will allow joining after serving my 90-day notice period?

  4. Has anyone faced a similar situation with Accenture onboarding delays or joining-date flexibility?

Financially and career-wise, Accenture seems much better for me, but I’m worried about resigning from TCS without a confirmed onboarding/result from Accenture.

Would appreciate honest suggestions from people who have experienced this.
