Is this AI? One of my viewers on Twitch made a 3D render of my VTuber model. Not only are there strange meshes on the hair and legs, they said this was their first day EVER making 3D models.
I'm a self-made VTuber and anytime someone makes me fanart, I am psyched, HONORED and honestly undeserving. SO - with that in mind, I hate being skeptical of this, but there are just things that are off.
First - this individual shared 3-seperate models yesterday, stating it was their first time EVER attempting to design something in 3D. The video here is one of those 3.
As far as this being their first time trying 3D modeling, I know there's NO WAY I'd be able to create something like this my first day of trying, which makes me skeptical from the get go..

There are meshes on the afro - - - these squiggles, that I don't understand. The ears and hair blend in together like one big blob. The sock on her right leg doesn't make sense. Also, the arms don't look like their clipping in with the hips, but are instead like... merged together? Because I've never tried rendering something in 3D, I don't know if this is like, a rookie thing or if I'm thinking correctly when I feel sculpting it this way doesn't make sense.
I feel like a jerk because it's fanart and maybe these are just the mistakes of someone new to the medium. But at the same time, if my art was ran through some regurgitation software, that bums me out...
