I volunteer with the Food for All Pflugerville food pantry and we regularly have expired bread or wilted veggies or old fruit that people don't take. Besides throwing it in the trash is there anyone else that these items can go to (like for compost or animal feed or something)? The food is sometimes moldy but mostly it's just too far past expiration to give out to families.
Hey all I was hoping to get some help on this one because I'm not sure if this coin is real or not. I found it in a collection of coins inherited from my MIL after she passed. She was an avid collector and had a TON of coins from multiple countries and different proof sets and just all sorts of stuff. Anyway I discovered ANOTHER box of coins while going through her stuff and found this inside. I don't know if it's a toy or real or what. It reminds me of 90's costume jewelry so it might be that, but I just want to check before I bring it to the Coin Store guy for his opinion.
Hey all FYI: I was in Global Market in Austin, TX to ask them about donating their old stock to a local food pantry I support and found out they slash their items before tossing them :( So while you might find interesting items in there, they’ll all be slashed and broken unfortunately.
