What can I expect at my first appointment? Technically this is my 'confirmation of pregnancy' appointment, and my OB said they do the confirmation by ultrasound. I will be roughly 7-8 weeks at this appointment. Am I going to be able to hear a heartbeat?

Hi everyone! I’m new here. My husband and I just started trying for our first, and I feel like I’m going in totally blind. I’m about 5 DPO and paying way more attention to my body than ever before. I’d love any tips or advice from those who’ve been through this! Also curious, what were the earliest signs you noticed before a positive test?
