Thermal mod on Air M4
Yesterday I decided to do the thermal pad mod on my laptop but instead I used thermal paste
Now let’s be pretty clear
Do NOT try this thermal paste may move to somewhere important and fuck your laptop I’m just autistic enough to try it
After the headache of opening the laptop I added 3 lines or thermal paste and carefully closed the laptop making sure it didn’t move, and I have to say guys, even being the worse way of making the mod it is noticeable
The bottom gets noticeably hotter, when playing it gets genuinely hot, and for cooling that’s amazing
I kid you not it takes less than a minute now for the MacBook to cool down after gaming and during gaming I don’t see any fps drop, so far I’ve tried Minecraft, lies of P and another crab’s treasure on crossover all of them have noticeable improvements
So if you can actually do it with thermal pads I do recommend it
Edit: guys I don’t care about your balls being burned it really isn’t a problem for me.
