Good morning, I have a pileated woodpecker living in the woods on our property. I absolutely love watching it work however this morning I heard a knocking noise near my front door for about thirty seconds. I opened the door slowly to see if I could catch it and the bugger flew off from my front porch. This is what I found when I went outside(literally less than a minute of work from the bird) 😭 the lil dude has probably 100 trees to pick from and he went for my deck. Any thoughts on prevention or deterrents? We literally just bought this house like 3 months ago so I don’t want this to become problematic 🤣
