Soundproofing Test
Hi everyone!
My family and I are moving to Yokohama at the end of the month. We have a 2 year old and a dog.
We’ve been looking at places near Minato Mirai and Yokohama Stadium that are pet friendly and accept our midsized dog.
However, I am concerned with the soundproofing, not just for ourselves but for our neighbors.
I have read that concrete buildings have much better sound proof but, to what standard? I work from home and my wife is a SAHM, so we’ll be in the apartment a considerable amount of time in our daily lives.
Is there any way to ask or know about the soundproofing quality, other than going to the floor upstairs and walking around? 😅
Also, I’ve read it’s common to give small gifts to neighbors when you move in. Does it apply to apartments?
