Recently started looking for sleeveless tees and came across eco friendly options which got me thinking if they’re actually worth it or just marketing. organic cotton ones seem comfortable from what people say and bamboo fabric also comes up a lot for being soft and breathable. sounds good on paper but not sure how they perform after regular use

then I checked Alibaba listings and saw quite a few suppliers offering organic cotton bamboo blends and even recycled materials which was interesting. compared that with regular brands and they also have eco lines but usually priced higher. so now it feels like choice is between paying more for brand trust or trying alternatives at lower cost. still not fully convinced either way… feels like durability and comfort matter more in the end

Hey everyone,

I’m currently pursuing CS from CCSU and my CGPA is around 6.5. One of my close friends is also doing CS but from a private university, and he has around 8.5 CGPA.

The thing is — when it comes to actual knowledge and skills (coding, concepts, problem-solving), we’re pretty much at the same level. We study similar stuff, practice together, and honestly, there’s no major difference in what we can do.

But this CGPA gap is starting to bother me a bit.

I’m worried about how much this will matter in placements, internships, or even off-campus opportunities. I’ve heard companies use CGPA cutoffs, and I’m not sure if this will hold me back even if my skills are decent.

So I wanted to ask:

How much does CGPA really matter in the long run?

Should I focus on improving my CGPA from here, or double down on skills (DSA, projects, etc.)?

Has anyone been in a similar situation and still managed to do well?

Would really appreciate some honest advice.

Thanks!
