Hi! My 21 year old Trane xl80 furnace's blower motor died on me this week. I was quoted 1600 CAD for a repair. A day later the same HVAC company gave me a couple options if we wanted to buy a new furnace instead. Is it worth getting either of these new systems installed for the price instead of replacing the motor? The Furnace hasn't given us any other issues since we moved in 7 years ago and honestly I wasn't repalcing the air filter as often as I should have and assume that lead to he motor issue.
