I recently bought a pair of birkenstock Arizona. I fell in love with the iron color so I initially bought arizona birko-flo but after reading reviews I decided I wanted leather straps so I returned them and they had iron in leather. Well I got them home and realized they were softbed. I've read the reviews and decided to return them again and get regular. My problem is I can't seem to find a color I like in regular. I was even on the birkenstock website and they don't have classic footbed, with leather straps in iron color. So my question is ....are the softbed really not as great? Longevity? From what I read the regular is best for high arches which is what I have. Do I sacrifice longevity for color? My last pair were Granada which lasted about 3 years (I wore them a lot and hard)
