Oppo Reno 13 5G: Excellent Performance, Awful Camera Quality
I bought the Oppo Reno 13 5G expecting a solid camera, but it turned out to be one of the worst I’ve ever used.
Every photo—especially at medium distance—looks heavily processed, pixelated, and unnatural, almost like a painting instead of a real image. The AI processing completely ruins the details, and when you zoom in, it gets even worse. Everything looks fake and over-smoothed, as if the photo has been artificially generated rather than captured.
What’s even more frustrating is that there’s no proper way to disable the AI enhancements, so you’re stuck with these poor results.
The phone itself is great in terms of performance and design, but the camera is a huge disappointment. For a device in this category, this is simply unacceptable.
Very disappointing from Oppo—I expected much better.
Has anyone experienced the same thing with this phone?
