350 SBC. New aluminum heads (AFR enforcer) using the old pushrods that were on the old aluminum heads. These old pushrods measure 7.784 inches in length. According to the internet, this is MUCH longer than is typically seen using the setup I have. The internet suggests 7.3 to 7.4 inches.

However, the picture is the registration mark on the valve stem with the longer push-rods. Is this not where it should be? Is the longer 7.78in pushrod correct?

With a 7.4in adjustable rod, the registration mark is just barely on the intake side of the valve stem.
