Hi! My friends and I are backpacking Asia this summer and Taiwan is one of our first stops. We will be there for 10 days and plan to hit Taipei, Yilan, Hualien, Kenting, Kaohsiung, and maybe Alishan. We're more interested in exploring Taiwan's nature, but of course have the 2-3 days in Taipei to do the city stuff. For the outdoor/nature activites, I'm unsure where to start for planning what we should do since I know it will be super hot and in the peak monsoon season. I was wondering if anyone can share their experience going to Taiwan to do outdoor stuff in the summer and what their do's and don'ts are. Thank you so much!
