Came across this, so figured I’d post the data for everyone:
Polymer = 212 grams, 7.48 ounces
Metal Aluminum = 271 grams, 9.56 ounces
Metal HD Steel = 496 grams, 17.5 ounces
M&P 10mm Carry Comp. It’s my home defense and woods pistol.
I picked up Mischief Machine’s backstraps in EDC and Swell. They are phenomenal. I loved the factory backstraps and feel, but these are better. They feel better in hand and grip/presentation angle is more aggressive, so the pistol now points more like my BG 2.0 and Shield X, which I like.
Plan to use the EDC backstrap without all the accessories when in the woods and the Full backstrap when used for home defense.
Ordered the brass and aggressive backstraps as well for my Metal M&P9 range-toy.
