so i’ve liked this boy since mid last year. he was in one of my classes. i made the move to follow him on instagram last year, he accepted and followed me back. he’s really chill and cool in real life. however he started dating this other girl last year and i had to make myself back off, however after graduation and we went back for an exam he said they’d broken up. for some reason in the back of my mind i still had a crush on him. we’re now at two completely different unis and i haven’t seen him since late last year.
but i still do try to make subtle hints but maybe it’s too friendly and too causal, like i would sometimes like his scenery instagram stories but i can never dm him, like
i don’t wanna make it too awkward or obvious?? the other week i followed him on tiktok, he didn’t even follow me back 🥲.
i don’t know what to do, should i just leave it? because seems like i make majority of the effort most of the time BUT last year in class he was the one starting all the conversations. like should i try and drop a more obvious hint? maybe liking his story if it’s a selfie or a personal one if him.
im eighteen and never dated or had a boy show interest in me so i guess i just want some advice :(.
