My husband and I have been planning to study in Germany for almost about a year now. We are both licensed Architects and are currently in the process of learning the language and having our Bachelor's Degrees certified to allow us to apply to more Universities in Germany. We plan on applying for and enrolling on, hopefully, Winter of 2027.
Our goal has always been to migrate eventually. We understand that Architecture is region-specific and that, in Germany, it will involve dealing with building codes and guidelines that are entirely in a foreign language (we are Asian and are fluent in English), but we are both willing to learn the ropes and integrate.
However, what worries me is the current job market in Germany. I wonder if it would be wiser to pick the Ausbildung Pathway now. I, personally, won't mind the change in career paths. Or my husband could continue pursuing a Masters Degree while I'm on an Ausbildung Pathway.
Which do you think is better long-term?
