Hey everyone! I’m a third-year student right now, and I’m starting to think seriously about internships and future full-time jobs. I’d really love to hear from people who got hired recently, like in 2025 or 2026. Things change so fast, and I want advice that feels up-to-date.

What I’m asking is: What really worked for you when you were applying? Did you learn certain skills or notice any trends? How did you approach things differently to stand out?

I’m serious about this, but I’m also not rushing. I want to take my time and do it right. So, I’d love to hear your experiences and advice to help me (and others in the same boat) figure out a solid plan. Thanks so much!

Hi everyone,

I joined a small startup as a React Intern in early April. During the interview, they mentioned a ~15-day training period after which they would evaluate performance and decide continuation. Stipend was performance-based.

However, there was no proper training structure. I worked on a few tasks like:

- Teaching juniors basic HTML/CSS

- Reviewing a few websites and making feedback reports

- Helping with a basic client proposal

After submitting my last report, I haven’t received any response for about a week (messages/calls unanswered).

I don’t have an offer letter, only email/chat communication and submitted work as proof.

My exams are coming up, so I can’t apply elsewhere right now.

Should I still include this as internship experience on my resume/LinkedIn, or is it better to leave it out?

Any advice would be helpful.
