Help with Air China ticket information
Hello,
I booked some flights with Air China and I’m now being confronted with some stupid mistakes I made.
I booked the flights in Air China website but did not put my full name - I put my first and second name and my last name and for whatever reason I ignored the middle name and didn’t put it.
If that was not enought I put a placeholder in my passport number and so that number is not correct too.
I contacted Air China’s contact center and they said they can’t do anything as the name is not correct and they can’t even correct the passport number because of the name.
If this wasn’t enought there is not an Air China’s counter where I live (the first flight is with Lufthansa).
So, since the flight is in a couple of days, how reasonable is it to explain all of this in the airport, in the Lufthansa’s counter? Will they be able to correct any information, since they are not the airline I booked the flights?
Should I just ask for a refund and try to book another flight, even if it’s more expensive?
