I’ve been getting back into Alien: Isolation speedrunning lately, mostly on Nightmare.
Right now some sections are still more 'Glitch Run' than proper 'No Major Glitches',
but the long-term goal is to clean it up and move toward NMG.

I own the Steam version too, but recently I’ve been playing on the Xbox PC, Microsoft Store version,
and the game feels like it has a slightly different rhythm.

Mission 7 is where I notice it the most. On Steam, the armed survivors near the vent,
Jeremy’s group (yeah, Armed Survivors) , usually react in a way I can work with after I run past them.
They chase or pressure me in a way that lines up with the setup.

On the Xbox PC version, they often don’t seem to react the same way.
The timing feels off, they don’t follow in the way I expect, and the usual setup just doesn’t really happen.

Because of that, I’ve had to fall back on an older, safer route from when I first started learning the section.
It works, but it costs me around 1:00 to 1:10 compared to the timing I’m aiming for.

I’m not saying this is definitely an engine issue or a version bug. It could easily be my execution, FPS, timing, save-state weirdness, or me being too used to the Steam version.

But with the same general route and the same PC setup,
the Xbox PC version genuinely feels different in this section.

Has anyone else noticed anything like this between the Steam and Xbox PC / Microsoft Store versions?

Also, side note: the weird broken lift lighting glitch -
I used to see on Steam seems to be fixed here, at least on my setup. That was kind of funny, lol.
